You know in advance that you'll be away when your delivery arrives? Several solutions allow you to plan ahead to avoid a missed delivery. Here is how to configure your delivery according to the carrier.
1. Plan from ordering: choose a pickup point
The simplest solution: opt for a pickup point when ordering.
When validating the cart on motorkit.com, depending on the available carrier, you can choose to be delivered to:
- A pickup point (Pickup, UPS Access Point, Mondial Relay...)
- A post office or a bpost post point
- An automatic parcel locker (automated locker)
✅ Advantages:
- You collect your parcel when you're available (often from late morning to evening)
- No need to wait at home all day
- Often cheaper than home delivery
- Available 6 days a week in most points
Tip: choose a pickup point near your workplace or on your daily route for more convenience.
2. Set your delivery preferences
Most carriers allow you to personalise the delivery via their tracking link or app:
Common options
- Deliver to a neighbour (with their prior agreement)
- Drop off at a safe place: garage, garden shed, carport, under the porch...
- Ring the concierge or leave at reception (apartment buildings)
- Choose a specific delivery date
- Select a time slot (depending on carrier)

3. The carriers' apps
To manage your delivery in real time, each carrier offers its mobile application or online space:
My bpost app
For parcels delivered by bpost, the My bpost app allows you to:
- Track your parcel in real time
- Modify the delivery address
- Choose a pickup point (post office, post point, locker)
- Set permanent delivery preferences
- Receive notifications (departure, delivery)
DPD app
For parcels delivered by DPD:
- 1-hour time slot indicated on the delivery day
- Redirection to a Pickup Parcelshop
- Postpone the delivery to another day
- Address change (subject to availability)

UPS My Choice space
For parcels delivered by UPS, the free service UPS My Choice allows:
- Modification of the delivery date
- Redirection to a UPS Access Point

4. What if the delivery has already failed?
